Lowry Confirms €1.4 million Funding for Rehab Care Facility

Deputy Michael Lowry has confirmed approved funding of €1,397,329 for a Day Center and Special Needs Housing Accommodation for the Rehab Group in Thurles.

This funding is provided under Department of Environment’s Capital Assistance Scheme for voluntary housing projects.

This will be permanent facility to accommodate the long established Rehab Care group who have been working out of old and unsuitable accommodation at the old sugar factory building in Thurles. (more…)

Lowry welcomes funding for Borrisokane Community College Sewerage works

Lowry Welcomes the Establishment of National Rural Network at Tipperary Institute

Thurles based Deputy Michael Lowry has welcomed the news that Tipperary Institute has been formally awarded the contract to establish the National Rural Network by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries & Food.

The announcement makes T.I a key player in the Rural Development Programme, Ireland 2007-2013 and will bring together the individuals, organisations and administrations involved in delivering measures the programme. (more…)
